  • If you would like to purchase a table of 6, choose a supporter table. This includes a "shout out" for your Award Winner. Be sure to include a celebration statement of 144 characters for publishing in the Award Booklet and on your Award Winner's slide.

As we come together again to celebrate the 2023 Awardees, we will also take this time to recognize the winners in 2020, 2021 and 2022 who had virtual celebrations!

The Diamond Jubilee Awards represent the highest honor that the nursing profession in Connecticut can bestow on one of its own, a kind of “Nobel Prize” in nursing. These awards are named after some of the most distinguished leaders in Connecticut nursing history. The Connecticut Nurses Awards celebrates nurses who exemplify the very best in the nursing profession and organizations which made outstanding contributions to nursing, health care policy,  and to the Association.

Special Celebration of Dr. Mary Jane Williams

Dr. Mary Jane Williams, RN, whose indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication have propelled the nursing profession for decades.  Dr. Williams has championed the cause of nurses across Connecticut through her tireless efforts within the Connecticut Nurses Association, advancing policy and practice to ensure nurses can practice and benefit both healthcare and the community at large. With a heart full of compassion and a mind teeming with wisdom, she has not only served as a beacon of inspiration to countless aspiring students but has also set the gold standard for professionalism in nursing. Dr. Mary Jane Williams stands as the ultimate professional nurse, an embodiment of excellence, and a true trailblazer, whose legacy will forever illuminate the path of nursing progress in Connecticut and beyond. Join us in honoring her enduring spirit and  remarkable achievements!
