Let’s Celebrate American Heart Month

As nurses we are very aware that eating and physical activity are two important personal behaviors that can have a positive or negative effect on heart health. But, did you know that your emotional behaviors can also have a positive or negative effect on your heart’s rhythmic activity and your ability to address challenges and stressors?

HeartMath, an evidence-based set of tools, can be used to foster resiliency in your personal and professional life.

During this webinar you will learn about the science and origins of HeartMath and the relevance to nurse self-care and resiliency building. You will also have the opportunity to practice HeartMath techniques that can be used to reduce preventable stressors.

There is no better time than now to add another health-promoting practice to your personal self-care tool box. Join us for this experiential lesson designed to enhance your personal well-being.
