An engaging opportunity to meet legislators, discuss important nursing issues! From introductions on the Floor of the House and Senate Chambers, Nursing Proclamation, and tours of the Capitol, this day demonstrates the breadth, depth, and expertise of the nurses caring for CT!

Nurse Practice Act

Read and understand your Nursing Practice Act (NPA) and rules. The legislature can change the NPA. The CT Board of Examiners of Nursing can make rule changes and offers declatory rulings and clarifications.

Prepare an Elevator Speech

 Having an elevator speech ensures that nurses can make the most of every opportunity to influence, educate, and advocate for their patients and the profession.
